Apparent Obama Campaign Credit Card Fraud in Progress

Obama’s campaign will accept a credit card number with no matching address, name, or 3 digit code.  This would appear to make it possible for anyone anywhere with just the credit card number and expiration date to make a contribution.  It is a system blatantly designed to facilitate fraud.

So if some criminal organization has someone’s credit card number, then they could use it to make a donation even though they are missing the three digit number.

None of the other candidates is missing the 3 digit code requirement.

Another use is for foreign donations and foreign criminal organizations.  Sinaloa? Russian Mafia?  Do you suppose they might have stolen credit card numbers but be missing the 3 digit number?

The violation of FEC rules by the obama web site was first identified in a Facebook post by Adrian Murray several days ago. The absurdity of the violation was emphasized by a post on PowerlineBlog.com with Hnderaker’s post demonstrating not only how illegal contributions could be made, but also actually posting a link for “friends” to make illegal contributions:

There are more troubling aspects of Obama’s accepting credit card numbers without the 3 digit security code:

This is a way to donate from foreign enemy countries and foreign criminal organizations. Sinaloa Cartel? Chinese hackers? Identity thieves? Russian Mafia? Do you suppose they might have collected databases of stolen credit card numbers but be missing the 3 digit number?

What if the Democrats get the money from such credit card numbers for a media blitz in the last couple months before the election? The victims would not get their statements until later, and then contest them. By that time the organizations that placed the ads would be long gone.

Question: Is it possible to submit credit card numbers from a random number generator? No name or address is needed for validation.
